About Us

The California Alliance for Jobs represents more than 2,000 heavy construction companies and 80,000 union construction workers from Kern County to the Oregon border.

The Alliance advocates responsible investment in public infrastructure projects to help build a secure future for all Californians.

As a unique partnership between labor and management, the Alliance steers clear of divisive politics and is able to focus on the core of what really matters to our members and California as a whole: creating jobs and ensuring that our state builds and maintains the transportation networks, water systems, and commercial and residential building projects they demand.

We believe appropriate investment in public infrastructure is an investment in the state, an insurance payment on economic prosperity, and a gateway to continued industrial viability.

The production and transport of all goods and services depends on a statewide commitment to public infrastructure.

We’re proud of our members, and seek to provide the support they need to build and maintain the infrastructure necessary for modern life: our streets, highways, sidewalks, railways, bridges, tunnels, sewers, pipelines, dams, parks and stadiums.
