CAJ Auburn Poll Shows Little Support for Charter City
An August 2011 survey of 350 City of Auburn residents revealed that 58 percent of Auburn residents feel the current system of government is working fine and there is no need to change it. Twenty percent of those polled indicated that the charter city matter was a serious issue–compared to 83 percent of residents who said that jobs and the economy are serious concerns. Read more.
Redding Residents Oppose Charter City Conversion
According to a July 2011 survey, Redding residents overwhelmingly oppose becoming a charter city and view other issues such as creating jobs, fixing roads, and providing police and fire services as more important issues. Read more.
